Inviting Vidar

Adding Vidar uses Discord's standard OAuth2 bot-authorization flow.

Add the bot

Use the invite link, choose your server, and confirm the permissions. You must have Manage Server on the target server. The invite pre-selects the exact permission set Vidar needs — you can review each one on the Discord prompt before approving.

What the prompt requests

bot scope — adds Vidar as a member with the selected permissions.
applications.commands scope — registers the /verify, /setup, and /status commands.

After adding

Vidar registers your server automatically and appears in your dashboard. Set your verified role and you're live.

Removing Vidar

Kick or ban the bot from Server Settings → Members at any time. You can also disable verification from the dashboard without removing the bot.
